The "Pyrates of the Gulf
Coast" Inc, was founded in July of 2003. As a non-profit club, the purpose is to
raise funds for various charitable organizations within the Gulf Coast region.
Five (5) individuals who wanted to help different charitable organizations, in their
own style, founded the group. We wanted to raise awareness on the Gulf Coast for
the need of those groups, and have fun doing it. The group will participate and
sponsor numerous community events such as, area parades, FUN-raisers, local and
state festivals, etc.
NEEDS
The club has several organizations that they will be raising funds for, including
but not limited to, the following:
Foundation of Dreams, Inc. A provider of therapeutic and recreational programs
for children and adults with special needs.
Boys and Girls Club of Manatee County, Inc. A positive place for kids!
We hope to raise funds through providing a positive, fun, creative outlet to
many within our community.

If a tax deductible receipt is needed, please provide a self-addressed stamped
envelope and one will be returned to you.
SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship fund will be set up as soon as possible to assist a top student/volunteer
currently associated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County. Future
availability of scholarship funds could be available to all local high school students.
MERCHANDISE
We will bring a supply of our merchandise to events that we are participating in.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is OPEN to any individual that resides in the Gulf Coast region and is willing to abide
by the group's rules and regulations regarding minimum active membership. Further information
concerning membership may be obtained from any of our officers and at any of our functions.
